1. Agreement
By accessing or using TeachPaper (teachpaper.com), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
TeachPaper is an AI-powered learning platform that transforms scientific publications into interactive study materials, including quizzes, flashcards, summaries, concept maps, and voice-based tutoring.
3. Accounts
- •You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- •You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- •You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
- •One person or entity per account. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- •Upload content you do not have the right to use (respect copyright)
- •Use the service to generate content for academic dishonesty (plagiarism, cheating on exams)
- •Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or payment requirements
- •Reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the API
- •Use automated tools to bulk-process documents without authorization
- •Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
5. Your Content
5.1 Ownership
You retain all rights to the documents you upload. TeachPaper does not claim ownership of your content.
5.2 License
By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it for the purpose of providing the service (generating quizzes, summaries, etc.). This license terminates when you delete the content or your account.
5.3 AI Processing
Your uploaded content is processed by third-party AI services (OpenAI, ElevenLabs). By using TeachPaper, you consent to this processing. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. AI-Generated Content
- •Content generated by TeachPaper is produced by AI and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or misinterpretations.
- •You are responsible for verifying AI-generated content against original sources.
- •TeachPaper does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated output.
- •Do not rely on AI-generated content for medical, legal, or safety-critical decisions.
7. Subscription & Payments
7.1 Free Tier
Up to 3 papers per month. All 6 learning modes available. No credit card required.
7.2 Pro Plan ($8/month)
Unlimited papers. Priority processing. Advanced features as they become available.
7.3 Billing
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis for the current billing period.
7.4 Price Changes
We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email.
8. Intellectual Property
"TeachPaper", the TeachPaper logo, and associated branding are our intellectual property. The service's design, code, and technology are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the service.
9. Availability & Limitations
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice when possible. AI processing depends on third-party services (OpenAI, ElevenLabs) which may experience downtime. We reserve the right to limit or throttle usage to maintain service quality.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days (except as required by law).
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEACHPAPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, DAMAGES RESULTING FROM RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT, OR DAMAGES EXCEEDING THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland / EU. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
